Pre-school education

Pre-school education is based on the Finnish Basic Education Act.

Free-of-charge pre-school education follows the school work days, and the typical hours of pre-school are from 9.00 to 13.00. If the child needs municipal early childhood education in addition to pre-school, the goal is to arrange it in the same facilities and with the same personnel.
